Summary: The house is fantastic, a beautiful architect's house just as listed and perfect for our family of 4.  Communication with the owner was easy and the property was very clean on arrival. We enjoyed in particular (but in no particular order): - the very big kitchen with all the equipment - we are into cooking and the kitchen was great (large cooker, a lot of utensils, beautiful dishes etc) - the lovely cat - we were made to feel very welcome by the actual "owner" of the house - who seems used to visitors and just gets on with her life (catflap and automatic feeder provided). - the fireplace - which makes the house warm is so many ways - and the bright, homely sitting/dining room. - the proximity of shops (bakery, mini supermarket...) - the gated off-street parking: the house is within walking distance of the town centre so the street can get busy - having secure off-street parking was brilliant.   - we were pleased to find that the property does have 2 toilets. We stayed for one week to celebrate Christmas in Caen and we would love to come again to this property.   Thank you Prune and Eric for making us feel very welcome in your home!
